ADAPTATION AT SCHOOL
  • Meetings and consultations with the school administration
  • Access to the BILIM CLASS school platform to track the child’s progress, inclusion in the parent chat
  • Involvement of parents in the school community and events, feedback from subject teachers
Parents receive the Parent Handbook, and the student receives the Welcome Book, which outlines the school’s values, behavior rules, and key staff contacts.
For grades 1–4 — with a psychologist,
For grades 5–11 — with the Head of Academic Affairs.
This helps determine the child’s readiness level and provide academic support. After enrollment, the student is entered into the school database and assigned to a language group.
Before enrollment, parents and the student get acquainted with the school, visit the classrooms, and receive answers to all organizational questions.
The adaptation process for new students at QAZGUU School is designed so that from the very first days, the child feels comfortable, is welcomed by the school community, and successfully integrates into the learning process. According to the student onboarding procedure:
Parental support:
One month after enrollment, a meeting with the parents and the student (online or offline) is held to review the results of the adaptation process and determine the next steps for support.
Final meeting
At the beginning of the next term, a survey is conducted among new students, and the results of their adaptation are analyzed.
Adaptation monitoring
A week later, a meeting-training is held with the participation of the psychologist, class tutor, buddy, and the President of the School Parliament to strengthen the student’s sense of belonging to the school community.
